What we send to Meta
- From your browser (Meta Pixel). The pages you view on dasreplay.com and
the app, and a few steps: viewing pricing or our ad page, signing up, starting checkout.
It sets the
_fbpand_fbccookies. - From our servers (Conversions API). When you sign up, start checkout, start a trial or pay: the step, the time, your email and user ID as SHA-256 hashes, the ad click codes, and for trials and payments the amount.
- Your IP address and browser type go along only while you're on the site (signing up, starting checkout). We don't store them for this.
- Never your name, your trades or your card details.
Why
To see which ads bring people who actually try DAS Replay, and to stop paying for the ones that don't. Meta also uses these reports, under its own terms, to choose who sees our ads. We run these ads in the United States only.
What "Do not share" does
- In this browser, right away. It saves a cookie on dasreplay.com, so the Meta Pixel stops loading here and in the app.
- On your account, next time you open the app. If you have an account, the app records your choice when it next opens in this browser. From then on our servers stop reporting your sign-ups, trials and payments to Meta, on every device.
- Not backwards. It stops future reports. It can't recall what Meta already received.
- Nothing else changes: same product, same price, same plan.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as "Do not share" for every visit that carries it, with nothing to click. Choose "Do not share" as well if you want the choice to follow your account to browsers that don't send the signal.
